How dangerous can life still get for people firmly grounded on their belief?
How could the world be a better place for its citizens living in persecution and uncertainty?
What does life have in store for them? More harm? Greater tragedy? Death?
On another part, how many souls have we brought in the knowledge of God?
Would we wait until the upheaval reaches us before we do something for our neighbors?
It is not a hard thing to do compared with what the Indian Christians are fearlessly doing.
In our modern society today, I really could not believe that such martyrdom still exists. How I wish I could do something to relieve and rescue these brothers and sisters of ours.
To everyone who will take time, I appeal to you, let us sincerely pray for them. We are blessed that we are in a free country. How about them? Let us realize their need and pray that they would always be upheld by God.
VISIO
I greatly appreciate the existence of vast arrays of things that can be done on-line. Those applications that need to first be installed before utilized in the past are now available over the internet for everyone’s use.As a group, we were able to experience this breakthrough when we did this voting flowchart. There are basically 2 interesting things when we had this activity that I like to point out. Personally, as a newly registered voter faced with the first ever automated national elections, it is a great help for me to know what to expect. I even want to post this diagram in our voting precinct (if I will be allowed) because it is really nice to have such guidelines that no one would need to grope in figuring out what to do next. The next thing I truly appreciate in this activity is the undeniable cost-saving, hassle-free, and on-line availability of usage and result. Applications accessible at any time as long as there is an internet connection really save money, time, and effort.

Business/IT Solutions
At all cost, business owners, managers, executives, and the like, will always aim to make their businesses prevail. Sweat, tears, and even blood would be shed. Sleepless nights and tiresome days are never out of the business picture.
But why spend so much worrying if easy yet effective solutions come at hand? Business solutions are now aided by state of the art smart answers through information technology.
Busyness can be reduced in business. Through information systems, people can enjoy more leisure time with other affairs apart from the business world.
Here are the 4 typical phases in developing and implementing IT in business:
First comes the initiation stage where the problem is defined. This is essential for clearly stating what is needed to be solved, for if not, there would not be a direction for the latter stages of this process. Analysis and investigation are highly regarded to come up with the direct-to-the-point problem which aims at the heart of the dilemma and not just surface penetration.
Next is the development stage where designating the appropriate design, specifications, and architecture is done. The materials needed are acquired. The general plan is laid out and finalized. How the different parts of the system operate is being decided upon. This is like having the solution to a problem strategized first actually solving it. There will be a definite action plan after this stage.
Implementation is the next phase. Actual enforcement is carried out on this stage. Making the new process operational is the utmost goal of this third step. Here, there are alternative methods that could be followed: parallel, plunge, phased, and pilot. Depending on the structure and adaptability of the organization, the project heads can implement any of these methods, whichever is applicable, more efficient, effective, and ethical for everyone.
Last but not the least is the operation and maintenance stage. This is very important to support the ongoing operation of the system after implementing it. With due effort to enhance and correct possible problems, everything would be on the right track. There should be regular monitoring and evaluation of the overall functionality of the newly implemented system.
Way to go! The organization is to have a feedback that the new system increases productivity for the optimum performance of the company. The response would not be so agreeable at first, but if the solution really answers the problem there would be no problem at all. Everything will turn out right.

some thoughts on Web 2.0...
What a nice advancement social media are! We, as humans become more capable of handling and controlling our network capacity. Way back, friends are found only in real life surroundings but ever since social media began existing, friends can also be virtually known.
Reminiscing my high school days, my peers and I were fond of Friendster where we used to upload tons of pictures, shout outs, bulletins, and many more exciting thoughts we thought of. It really amused us as we felt like professional computer handlers because we were able to design layouts and backgrounds for our profiles just the way we wanted it. =) Hahaha! Those were the times back then.
Back to the present, Facebook, Twitter, and the like are some of the trends that emerged. Personally, I must admit that I do not have a Facebook account for myself because I avoid getting some sort of addiction over it. =P (better safe than sorry) I remember one very early morning when I went to an internet café. It was around 8am and the café had just opened. I found a little boy, roughly at age 7, busily attending to his Facebook account. It was sad to see such kind of scenario when people’s attention tends to be diverted to things not so essential as work and study instead of being productive as a real person. Well, who is to be blamed? I hold nothing against social network activities. It is just that people often tend to become bad users of such innovations. But I think these sad truths are likely to prevail as more innovation and interactivity over the Web emerge.
But then, putting aside that dark spot, a whole lot of ease, efficiency, and high technology are at work because of Web 2.0 and Social Media. Everything seems to be possible and attainable. I could just imagine myself doing business over the internet anytime, anywhere, and in any way I want it. The electronic mail (e-mail) is no longer the big thing as it stands side by side with other connective social media. The library, maps, cookbooks, advices, and every sought after information at any time by any one are no longer subject to physical, economical and whatever barriers.
The worlds can now be grasped in an instant. But more than being able of conducting almost everything because of the web, I just hope that there would be more transformed and better individuals because of it.
